A series of paintings on linoleum flooring panels exploring the uses, mythology, social significance, politics and aesthetics of stone in architecture, building and city planning as well as the legacy of the classical female form carved in stone, its symbolism, spiritual and geographic significance and how it is used, (mis)understood and re-appropriated in the contemporary world.

All works are oil on linoleum floor panels, each panel is 19 x 27.5cm. Some panels are incased in polystyrene treated with acrylic polymer or chip foam soaked in resin. Dimensions of the encased panels are variable. Ongoing series started in 2014.
