A series of paintings on linoleum flooring panels exploring the materiality, representation, visual appropriation and mimicry of stone and re-appropriated in the contemporary Western culture.
All works are oil and stone effect paint on linoleum floor panels, each panel is 19 x 27.5cm. Some panels are incased in polystyrene treated with acrylic polymer or chip foam soaked in resin. Dimensions of the encased panels are variable. Ongoing series started in 2015.
